We only rent out robust 4×4 vehicles with four-wheel drive from either Entebbe or Kampala.

Possible routes by rental car in Uganda

Your journey begins in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, and takes you to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can observe rhinos in their natural environment. You then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park, which is not only home to a variety of wild animals, but also impressive waterfalls. Your route continues through Kibale National Park, which is known for its chimpanzee population, and Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can experience lions, elephants and other wild animals in their natural habitat. Another highlight of the trip is a visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. In addition to wildlife viewing, the tour also offers cultural experiences, including visits to local communities and the chance to discover traditional Ugandan life.

A large part of Uganda is covered by savannah, especially in the north and east of the country. Here you can experience wide, open grasslands with scattered acacia trees, which are typical of the East African landscape.

The majestic Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the “Mountains of the Moon”, rise up in the southwest of Uganda. They are covered with permanent snow and provide a spectacular backdrop. The Mount Elgon is located in the east of the country. It is an extinct volcano with the largest contiguous volcanic surface in the world.

Murchison Falls National Park

The National Park is home to the impressive Murchison Falls, where the Nile roars through a narrow gorge. The park is also home to a variety of wild animals, including lions, leopards, elephants and hippos.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its population of mountain gorillas. Here you can take part in guided gorilla trekking tours and observe these impressive animals in their natural habitat.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Known for its diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, buffalo, elephants and a variety of bird species. A boat trip on the Kazinga Channel offers a great opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds.
