Location: Emau Hill is a relaxed camp on the edge of the Amani Nature Reserve, in the heart of the East Usambara Mountains. The Amani Nature Reserve is one of the least known and yet most beautiful reserves in Tanzania. Accommodation: The camp has 3 en-suite cottages, 3 en-suite safari tents and a campsite. Each unit has solar-powered lighting. In our three en-suite cottages there is a power socket for charging cell phones and camera batteries. The en-suite units all have a hot water supply. The camp staff also provide hot water in the public showers for those who choose to stay at the camp. The restaurant: International and local cuisine is served. However, the camp supports a number of community initiatives, including a program to promote women’s craft skills.
