Location: The “Aru Meru River Lodge” is located between Moshi and Arusha, on an old coffee farm. The 50,000 square meter complex is framed by two rivers and offers a unique view of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The garden with many tropical plants invites birds such as the crowned crane or weaver bird. Facilities: The 20 spacious rooms are hidden in the park, in the middle of the African flora. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, air conditioning and a private veranda. The furniture, like the main house, is kept in a cozy African style and was made by local craftsmen. In the main building, in addition to the reception, there is a cosy lounge, a bar, a boutique and the restaurant. Restaurant: The terrace restaurant invites you to let your gaze wander over the beautiful gardens or to the mountains Meru and Kilimanjaro. International and African cuisine is served – à la carte or from the buffet. The chef offers homemade bread, cakes and pastries. The wine cellar is stocked with selected international wines.
