Location: Baladin Zanzibar Beach Hotel is a boutique hotel resort surrounded by turquoise tropical waters, palm trees, and a white-sand beach in Pingwe, in the southeast of the island. Facilities: The modern complex has 8 spacious two-storey bungalows in a unique design, each with a traditional Makuti palm roof. On the upper level there is a double bed with fan and a window overlooking the sea and the pool. On the ground floor there are 2 single beds and an outdoor bathroom. Each bungalow has its own terrace overlooking the sea. The main house has four air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a double and single bed. It is possible to combine 2 rooms on the same floor via a connecting door. The en-suite bathroom is fully equipped with a large bathtub with vintage bronze fittings. Each room also has an espresso and tea making facilities. Restaurant: The restaurant offers à la carte dishes and changing daily specials. Baladin has its own brewery and is currently the only restaurant in Zanzibar that offers freshly tapped beer. Activities: walks in the area, swimming in the pool, visiting the brewery, yoga classes and massage treatments. Sustainability: The Baladin Resort was built mainly from local and natural materials.
