Location: The Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is located on the outskirts of the town of Karatu, about halfway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Where to stay: Bougainvillea Safari Lodge has 24 cottages; Each of the cosy rooms has mosquito nets over the large double bed or twin beds, a fireplace, a large bathroom with shower and a veranda overlooking the tropical garden. There is a large building with the reception, lounge, bar, souvenir shop and dining rooms. The pool is located in the middle of the property surrounded by the cottages and gardens.
