Location: Within the national park, the high-quality lodge offers spectacular views of Bwindi National Park, home to the rare mountain gorilla. The lodge is located just a few kilometers from the meeting point for the gorilla trekking. Where to stay: Each of the 10 hillside chalets was built using local materials. The cabins are equipped with comfortable, large beds, mosquito nets, a panoramic window, a safe and a private bathroom with an open rain shower. The lamps are solar-powered. The family and honeymoon hut also has a separate lounge with an open fireplace. There is also a cleaning service for laundry and hiking boots. Restaurant: A traditional bush breakfast is served in the thatched living-dining area, as well as a balanced selection of international and local dishes in the evening, consisting of several delicious courses.
