Location: Crater Forest is a small tented lodge on the highlands of a coffee plantation at an altitude of 1800 m, right on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCAA). Facilities: Crater Forest Tented Camp is a small eco-camp with only 15 spacious rooms, with en-suite bathroom with hot water shower and toilet. There is an African-style hot pot in each room, for warming at night during the cold winter time. The rooms are all built on highly elevated platforms and offer magnificent views over the Ngorongoro Forest. Restaurant: The restaurant and bar serve an excellent mix of African and international cuisine. Cooking is done with fresh local vegetables.
