Elephant Bedroom Camp is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River and is shaded by doum palms and other trees that make up this green belt of riverine forest in the Samburu National Reserve. The 14 spacious tents are rustic and colorful and offer every comfort, including a private plunge pool on the terrace, hot and cold running water, electricity (and complimentary herbal shower and bath products). The living and dining area is decorated in a lively safari style and, with its soft, intimate lighting, offers the ultimate place to relax between exciting game drives. Elephants, monkeys and impala are regular wild visitors to the camp, while the Samburu National Reserve is home to a large number of lions and leopards and offers the opportunity to see many species endemic to northern Kenya.Breakfast and lunch are served outdoors on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the shade of the trees (weather permitting). Dinner is served in the dining room.
