Location: At 941 meters above sea level, high up on the steep slope of the Albertinengraben in the northeast of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Elephant Plains Lodge offers its guests a panoramic view that stretches for miles across the green landscape to Lake George. The lodge is located near the equator, nestled on Lake Kikorongo and only 2 minutes from the park gate of Queen Elizabeth National Park. From here you even have a view of the Equator Monument. Facilities: Guests are accommodated in six spacious semi-detached houses and two family houses. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, huge glass windows and a private veranda. The property uses solar powered electricity and is built with locally sourced materials. Enjoy the fantastic view of Lake  Kikorongo from the swimming pool and watch the elephants and buffaloes drink with a refreshing drink. The main area offers a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas and a well-stocked bar with wine cellar. Restaurant: The restaurant has an outdoor deck with 270 degree views. The menu features international cuisine inspired by local flavors.
