Location: Secluded, in unspoilt and beautiful nature, Fort Murchison Lodge is located just outside the northern park boundaries of Murchison Falls National Park. The lodge overlooks the slow-flowing Albert Nile and is located just minutes from Tangi Gate. Facilities: The Fort Murchison Lodge consists of 12 rooms, whose architecture, like the name of the lodge, is reminiscent of a fort in the Swahili style. All rooms have a private bathroom, African-style wooden furniture and a balcony overlooking the river. To be closer to nature, Fort Murchison offers tents next to the main accommodations. These are comfortably equipped with 2 single beds, mosquito nets, a bedside table and a socket for charging electrical appliances. All tents are located on a terrace under thatched roofs, which protect against rain and provide shade. A shared washroom with showers and flush toilets must be shared with other guests. After your safari, enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace or take a dip in the pool. Restaurant: The restaurant offers African and international cuisine as a menu, there is homemade bread and fruits and vegetables from our own cultivation.
