Location: “Hatari” became famous through the 1961 film of the same name. At that time, the lodge buildings were the home of the actor Hardy Krüger. The lodge is idyllically located between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. It is often “surrounded” by wild animals such as giraffes, buffaloes and zebras. Facilities: Each of the 9 rooms is individually furnished in the retro style of the 60s and 70s. They have a fireplace and very large bathrooms. On the footbridge that leads into the open grassland, you can sit comfortably around the campfire and watch the African wildlife.
