Location: Kambi ya Tembo is located in Tanzania’s northeast near the border with Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro with spectacular views of the Amboseli Plain. Facilities: The camp has 14 tents, each equipped with a private bathroom with shower and a private terrace. Spacious double rooms with a double bed, two or three beds. The tents are furnished in typical safari style and convey a cozy feel-good comfort. In the main tent of the facility, a small library is available to guests in addition to the dining area, a lounge and a bar area. The camp uses solar panels for electricity and has a backup generator. Restaurant: International dishes as well as traditional dishes are served in the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating. Appetizers and drinks can also be enjoyed around the campfire in the evening. Picnic meals are prepared on request.
