Location: Karenge is a periodic bush camp in Akagera National Park, Rwanda. “Karenge” means “little foot” in the local language Kinyarwanda. The camp is fully equipped with only 6 tents, the camp is a quiet retreat. Each tent has a comfortable camp bed that stands on simple decks and is lit with solar lights and lanterns. Hot water is available daily in the private bathrooms next to each tent, which are equipped with bucket showers and toilets. Solar refrigerators keep the drinks cold in the bar. Restaurant: The camp has a restaurant where a healthy breakfast is served.
