Location: Only a few minutes from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport lies the KIA Lodge – an oasis in the middle of the dry savannah. Due to its location between Moshi and Arusha, the lodge is particularly suitable for overnight stays between two flights, but also as a starting point for a safari in the northern national parks of Tanzania. Facilities: All 40 rooms are located in traditional round huts. Each room has air conditioning, bathroom, color TV and some African art objects such as Makonde carvings or Tinga Tinga paintings. The swimming pool is elevated on a plateau and has an all-round view of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the Masai steppe. Here you can enjoy a sundowner in the evening and round off the day.
