Location: East of the Serengeti, in an arid plain, lies Lake Natron, known for its flamingos. In the immediate vicinity of the salt lake is the “Lake Natron Camp” in a unique location. Amenities: A touch of Africa’s wilderness and nature can be felt here at Lake Natron Camp. The camp consists of 10 functionally furnished tents, each with its own bathroom / toilet with bucket shower. During the day, you can cool off in one of the natural “swimming pools” right in front of the tented camp. The water has healing properties. Activities: From the camp you can take walks to Lake Natron as well as to the Engare waterfall, bird watching or climb the sacred volcano Ol Doinya Lengai.
