Location: The Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is located within the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southwest of Uganda, about 500m from the park boundary. In addition to seclusion and an atmospheric ambience, the camp offers the perfect starting point for encounters with the mountain gorillas that call it home. Facilities: The eight tented chalets are distributed under trees on the grounds and impress with their stylish design. In addition to queen-size beds, each unit has a bathroom with tub, shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer and hot and cold running water. On the small terrace you can relax and review the day and enjoy the sunset. In addition to the reception, the main building includes a restaurant with terrace, a souvenir shop, a bar and a lounge. A path leads through the grounds to the wellness area. Wi-Fi is available in the central areas. Enjoy the enchanting landscape. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the endangered gorillas of Uganda in their natural habitat. The area is also famous for rare forest elephants, forest pigs, various species of primates and countless bird species. Restaurant: Lunch can be arranged at the camp or as a picnic during gorilla trekking. Personal wishes and dietary requirements will be catered for with prior notice. Candlelit dinners are available on your private terrace on request.
