Location: On the eastern edge of the Tarangire National Park, in the immediate vicinity of the Tarangire Park entrance, lies the “Sangaiwe Tented Lodge”. Facilities: The individual canvas bungalows are very spacious and stand on raised platforms with stilts. In addition to double or twin beds, each room has a bathroom, a desk, ample space for luggage, and indoor and outdoor seating. From the veranda there are outstanding views over the wide plain and Burunge Lake. The main area of the lodge includes a restaurant, bar and lounge as well as a swimming pool. Internet access via WiFi is also available in the main area. Restaurant: The Sangaiwe Tented Lodge offers an excellent selection of food with an influence of Tanzanian recipes.
