Location: West of Lake Ndutu in the South Serengeti is Woodlands Camp. During the migration, from January to March, the camp opens its doors. A special attraction is the birth of several thousand wildebeest calves within a few days. Facilities: Woodlands Camp consists of 9 spacious tents, which are equipped with comfortable wooden furniture in African style. Each tent has its own bathroom with running water, shower/toilet and 24 hour electricity. The bar area and the evening campfire with “sundowner” offer its guests a cozy atmosphere. Restaurant: In a separate dining tent, freshly prepared meals are served daily. Lunch is served as a picnic, but can also be taken at the lodge.
