Siwandu is sheltered in a palm grove on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, part of the waterways of the Rufiji River, and is perfectly situated to experience the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife of the Nyerere National Park (formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve). The 10 spacious octagonal tents made of canvas and secure mosquito netting, covered with thatch, not only ensure constant air circulation, but also allow guests to watch the animals as they stroll past. Watch them while lying on the majestic king-size bed under the ceiling fan, or from the solar-heated open-air showers adjacent to the en-suite bathrooms. The elevated lounge and dining area offers panoramic views over the lake while you enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar or sample our chef’s fine cuisine.
