Location: The “Tembo Hotel” is a beautiful old building right on the beach of Stone Town. One of its wings has been restored in the typical Zanzibari style, the other in the modern Western style. Centrally located on the beach, it is a 3 minute walk to the Old Fort and a 5 minute drive to the harbour. Facilities: A total of 36 rooms of different categories are arranged on several floors around the pool in the courtyard. Equipped with mosquito nets, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, refrigerator and bathroom with shower/WC, hair dryer and shower gel, the rooms offer a pleasant comfort. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, laundry and room service. Activities: In addition to the large swimming pool in the courtyard, there is a diving school, a wide range of excursions in and around Stone Town, as well as rental of cars, mopeds and bicycles in the immediate vicinity.
