Uganda is not a high-risk area according to the rules of the Federal Republic of Germany, there is no quarantine obligation after returning to Germany.
Entry:
Fully vaccinated persons (double vaccination, Johnson+Johnson 1-double) do not need a PCR test to enter Uganda. Only unvaccinated tourists, regardless of which country they come from, require a negative PCR corona test in paper form, which must not be older than 72 hours (3 days) at the time of entry. Documents on a cell phone or laptop are not recognized.
Departure:
No test is required for departure for fully vaccinated persons, for unvaccinated persons a negative PCR corona test is required which must not be older than 72 hours. We organize the test on site at a cost of approx. USD 55.
Tanzania and Zanzibar are not considered high-risk areas, there is no quarantine obligation after returning to Germany.
Entry:
