Ujamaa Beach Resort is located in Makunduchi, a small fishing village in the southeast of Unguja Island, the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago, in the Indian Ocean. From buildings with makuti (palm leaves) roofs to furnishings made of local fabrics and furniture made from wooden boats, everything here reflects and respects the typical Zanzibari style.
